UGH!!!!!!!

So I fing asked off the day after thanksgiving and guess what my boss also wanted it so she took it after I already asked! I asked her to ask her boss if it was ok if we werent here and she comes back to me 2 weeks later and says he said no!

I sell weddings and parties honestly who is coming on that day! She says she had walkins last year but I really do not believe her!!

I am just so upset about this! I was also planning on taking off the week of Christmas because HR told me I had to take at least 1 weeks vacation before the new year because 2 weeks cannot go over to the next year, well my boss took it off before I had the chance even though she knew I wanted it! I just do not know what to do anymore.

I just really wanted this day off. Last year I woke up really early to go shopping, spend the day with my mom and sister. Its not the shopping as much as its the time with my mom and sister I really like! I guess I could still wake up early and do the shopping then come to work after but I am just mad

aww thats horrible of her! im so sorry. maybe you should call HR and ask what to do in a situation like this since you cant roll over the 2 weeks and every time you request off, your boss beats you too it. they might be able to do something??

That would be a good idea if HR here was HR/Accounting. They dont really have an HR department its one guy who also works in accounting. He will probably just say take it when you can.

Today is just not a good day, I cannot wait to get the F out of here.

That is so messed up...why don't you look for a job where they appreciate you and let you have the time off that is well deserved? and you make sure that you take the time that is owed to you because obviosly they are taking their time. I go through the same crap it's so aggravating!

I am working on it, there is not much out there. I am just hating coming here everyday.
