So I was all excited, feeling as though I was making some headway with hotel blocks and limo arrangements so I could get quotes and just got thrown for a total curve ball.
For those of you who are getting married in a church how are you working your timeline? Are you having the girls meet you at your house? Are the boys meeting at the grooms place? Where are you providing transportation to/from? Are you providing transportation from the reception venue to a local hotel or what?
HELP! I am so upset right now

i'm having this same dilemma trying to figure out a schedule and transportation...but i'm getting married at the RH! hopefully someone will have some insight lol

I can't help you too much as I am not having a limo but I can tell you for the wedding I was in, the girls all met at the brides and the guys met at the grooms. They may have car pooled though because I don't remember her having 2 limos. I could be wrong though.

Thanks girls ... my head is SPINNING! I was starting to well up! What makes the most sense to me is having all the girls meet at my house and having all the boys meet at the grooms house. They could get dropped off, the only issue that arises is for those who are BOTH in the wedding party which we have three sets of.
We have two photographers so one would be with me and one would be with future hubby.
UGH! So confusing! Someone help us ha ha

All of the girls are meeting/getting ready at my house and all the guys at FHs house. We are having one limo pick up the guys at 1:15 to go to the church and the other car come to my house to get the girls at 2:00.
Ceremony is 2:30.
Then we will get back into the cars (mix up now) and head to reception.

as of now... girls are going to my parents house and guys will be at our house... I am thinking it might be easier for the guys to go to the hotel we are staying at if we get a room, and get ready there, this way their card will be there already, but I dont know about teh girls cars... I am in the same dilemma.

Im getting ready at my house along with my BM's. FH is getting ready at his sisters house with his GM's. FH, GMs and his parents will all ride to the church together and then I believe once the guys are dropped off the limo will come get us at my house. My parents are definitely ordering a car to take them home after the reception

Our ceremony is @ 2PM...Tentative timeline
1:30 ~ Pick up girls from my house (Limobus) 1:40 ~ Pick up guys from FSIL house (Limobus) 1:45 ~ Rolls to pick my me and mom 1:50 ~ Get to church (Limobus) 1:55 ~ Get to church (Rolls)
2 - 3 ceremony and receiving line
3:15 Back in bus & car
3:30-3:40 Carosel (if it's reopened)
Take pics there & in the street
4:10 ~ Get into car and head to RH 4:45 ~ Get to RH
Take pics until 6 PM CH

Our ceremony starts at 3:00pm.
All the boys will be meeting at FH's parent's house in Queens where they will all be getting ready and the girls will be meeting at my mom's house in the Bronx, which is like 10 blocks from the church.
The Limo will first go to queens to pick up the boys around 2:15 and drop them off at the church and then come to pick up the girls at my mom's house at around 2:45 and bring us to the church.
After the ceremony, the WP and their guests will pile into the limobus and we are going to a separate location for pictures with the BP. We left more than enough time for our guests staying at the hotel to drive to the hotel and check in and be ready in time for the shuttles to take them to the RH (shuttle service is provided by the hotel) and the guests can't check in until after 3:00pm anyways so it works out well.

We have 1 limo for the BP. The limo will pick up boys from where they are getting ready and drop them off at church. The limo will then come pick up the girls and bring them to chruch.
I have a rolls to take my dad and I to the church.
After ceremony all the BP will get in the limo, and FH and I will be in the rolls. We also got a small limo to take our parents to church, then to RH.
