UGH!!

Yo... b/c my mom just kept me on the phone talking straight for 15 min telling me the same thing over and over again please tell me the following...

A) how much, if any, is FH paying for his tux
B) How much are GM paying for their tuxes (with or without tax)
C) How much FOB or FOG are paying for tuxes.

As my previous post said, GM are 177 w/tax (La strata tux) and my uncle will be 138 w/tax.

My mom is flipping out saying, 'I've seen places where the groom is free and the fob and fob is free and if not 1/2 price. Plus your guys are paying double what they should.' Really?? She expects a Tux rental for an adult to cost $85 in 2010?! Really?!?!?!?

i said this in the other post but i'll share again

i'm getting my tuxes from Men's Warehouse ... fathers and / or groomsmen are paying $80 + tax (whatever that comes out to) which includes the tux, shoes, cufflinks, etc

FH is getting his tux for free because we have 4 other people renting.

ETA: sorry bout your mom i really don't think $177 is too bad though (but def could be better)

with 5 rentals, we got 2 free tuxes.
so FH is free and we decided to split the 2nd free to make the kids ½ price... BUT we have 3 'kids', so the guy was nice enough to give us $50 off of the 3 (so an extra $25)

so its
FH- Free
3 GM + 1 BM- $125.00ea++
1 GM (my 13 yr old nephew) + 2RBs $75.00ea++
and 2 dads- $125.00ea+

that does not include shoe rental, which is an additional $25.00 per person.. but we're letting them choose if they want to rent shoes or not.

$100-150 is pretty standard.

Look, you get what you pay for. If you want the best deal, get the best deal. If you want a quality tuxedo at a place with good customer service, then expect to pay a decent price.

My groomsmen's tuxedo rentals were about $150, and I believe that included shoes. FOB and FOG were half off.

How many did you have? We have FH, 6 GM, 1 Jr. whose tux is $90 w/everything.

we have 2 BM, 6 GM, 1 FOB, 1 FOG, 1SFOG, 1 GFOB, 2JrGM, and 1 RB, plus the Groom!!!

so 16 total

Groom gets his rental FREE.

Ours were $109 (with tax) DH was free. We had FB, FB, 4 GM (so a total of 6 and DH)
This was ginos of farmingdale.
It included shoes, super 100 ralph lauren tux, cufflinks, shirt, vest and tie. the only thing we had to supply was socks

groom is free..most places do this.. i wouldnt go to a place that didn't do that IMO.

Bonaventure also gave us 3 free tuxes....so FH, FOB, and BEST MEN were FREE. Since we had two best men, he cut their prices in half.

GM are paying 110 + 25 or 30 for shoes.

Talk to Andy at Bonaventure and mention LIW...he's awesome and great to work with!
