UGH!
Life has become 10x more complicated since I started creating save the dates. I created like 15 different ones on different sites for FH and I to decide to between and we finally decided on one, on the most expensive website lol. We created this one on Minted.com and we love it, but it's coming out to be more expensive than we wanted to spend even with their 20% off promo. And that's for a regular card and not a magnet. UGH! Then there's the decision of do we put our wedding website on the front in the left hand bottom corner or do we put it on the back ($35 up-charge). Then we want the corners rounded because I think it's fancier (another $35 up-charge). Then we still have to put stamps on these damn things!!!! I'M GOING TO RIP MY HAIR OUT! Help me ladies, what do I do? Do you think they should be rounded? Do you think I should put the wedding website on the front or the back? And do you think we should wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday hoping for a larger percentage off?ETA: I put a screen shot of it in my album

You only have a few more days to wait!!! I would wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals! Than if its still not cheaper than I would keep looking, cut corners where you can, but IF your heart is SET on that one, than do what makes you both happy

UGH!
That's true.. it's just so aggravating that we of course picked the most expensive site to find the one we love. I'm gonna try to recreate it myself, but I know I'll just get more frustrated lol. We have another one we're okay with.. and it's almost $100 less for 100 of them. But I'm just not in love with them. I keep getting the eye roll from FH lol

I agree- wait until Black Friday to see if they are cheaper. If not, then I would put your wedding link on the front and I would also keep the regular edges. You want the save the dates to look nice but you don't need to break the bank! I'd save the extra money and use it on other things such as your invitations. You and your close family and friends will keep the save the dates. Everyone else is going to eventually throw them out.

Re: UGH!
The save the date is super cute but Black Friday and Cyber Monday are almost here - I would wait and see what kind of deals are out there before purchasing.

With things like this, I am a firm believer in just getting what you love because you wont be happy with anything else! Keep your eye out for cyber monday deals but in the end, do what will make you both happy!

Definitely wait for Black Friday and cyber Monday deals and keep us posted with what you decided. Go with the save the dates that you love so you won't have any regrets. Trust me when I say you'll find a deal where you will save. Things always have a way of working themselves out.

I just used a 30% code for our invitations from Minted.com but it was a one-time coupon code otherwise I'd pass it on. I'm sure they will send out codes this weekend. Do you want the rounded corners for you or do you think because your guests will like it more? Only invest if you want it for you---your guests won't know the difference between the rounded edges and straight ones.

I definitely say wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday since it's less than a week until Black Friday.

UGH!
We are about to order ours and I keep going back and forth about magnets vs postcards and where to get them! Honestly, after the initial opening of the postcard to see it, I don't think I'd notice rounded corners vs not, etc. I've tried to find templates with the website on the front. With the postcards I've received I never knew whether to put it on the fridge with the picture side or the postcard side with the info- either way something you worked very hard on and spent money on, people may only really see one side

We put the website on the back and some people didn't see it! I would vote to keep it on the front and its a plus if that's less money too!

When I ordered mine there was no room for the website :( so I'm putting enclosure cards in there (making them on zazzle just waiting for a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale hopefully).

Re: UGH!
You did a great job on your STD, but I think you can recreate it somewhere else for a much less price than Minted because it's a pretty simple design. This is probably the last thing you want to hear, but I was reading another thread, and a bride was complaining that no one was commenting that they received her STD when she put so much work into it.
Most people will receive it, look at it, and stick it on their fridge or bulletin board. I really don't think they're going to care if you have pointed or rounded edges, so save your money (and aggravation)!
We went the postcard route to save money, and it provides free printing on the backside which you could put your website on. The best tip for postcards that I got was to put your return address on them, otherwise you'll never know which ones were never sent (I got 3 back so far).
Good luck!

Definitely wait until the black Friday/cyber Monday sales!! Its only a few days away. I do like the rounded edges but I also chose to skip that when I did mine, just in the grand scheme of things wasn't worth the extra money to me.BTW did you try magnetstreet.com?? I got mine from there, they always have coupon codes and I ended up getting 75 magnets for 85 dollars.

Definitely wait until black Friday to get more of a deal. Also check out vistaprint as well. I'm not sure if you can round off the edges on that site but I got such a deal using them. Pick what you like but don't drive yourself crazy-this is such a small detail in comparison to everything else and there's no wrong answer. Whatever you decide will be perfectly fine.

UGH!
Thank you ladies for all your advice! Im 99% sure I found the perfect one on simplytoimpress.com and thus far it's a savings of over $80. The only thing is they don't have a ton of reviews and the BBB gave them an F for not responding to customer complaints so I'm a little nervous. But I did talk to a past liw bride who used them and was very happy. Plus I like that I can get 4x6 rather than 5x7.. I think 5x7 is just too much us with only one picture on it. Now I just have to decide if it's worth the risk of ordering from a company with an F

UGH!
Reneé, this is super cute! My advice is to go with th website on the front and if you want rounded corners, you can do this yourself if you're up for a little DIY! http://www.amazon.com/Aidox-Angle-Eater-Corner-Rounder/dp/B000WWIPEE/ref=sr_1_2?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1416938283&sr=1-2&keywords=corner+eaterDid you price out Nations Photo Lab? I'm going to promote their work until my tongue falls out of my mouth. I love that company.
I am so creeped out by using an unknown company. But, if you have someone who's experience was fine and you trust their judgement, go for it.
