Ugh! Cheap MIL!!!

Sometimes my MIL is just soooo weird!

We were at her house over Christmas and BIL and his wife came over the day after. SIL had a run in her stocking from sitting with her legs folded underneath her - the clip from her shoe got stuck in them - so she threw them in the waste paper basket in the bedroom that they were sleeping in. Well, MIL told me and DH about it and said she actually fished them out, washed them and is wearing them herself!!!!!

How cheap can you get! SIL doesn't know anything about it, but we were all there again yesterday and she mentioned that last time she was there she threw away a pair of panty hose and MIL just said Really?

Not for nothing - but is your MIL a WW2 baby?
It may be related to that, because my MIL is the same - you are NEVER EVER allowed to throw anything away.

She even uses all the leftovers during the week and makes a soup/stew out of them. And I mean ALL the leftovers! Into the pot they go every night and saturday you get this very strange concotion.

That is weird.

Was this HER daughter who threw them out? Maybe she felt close enough to her to do that. Maybe she will wear them under pants and so a run doesn't matter.

It is weird, though, that I will agree.

oh my that is weird! if a stocking has a run in it why would she wear it. strange.
