UGH!!!!!!!!! Doctor update!!!!!!!!!!! Baby is already 9 lbs!!!!!!!!

and they wont induce me until 7/28 (next Friday)!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH UGH UGH! They said I am 3 cm dialated.

The only cool thing about 7/28 is thats Anthony & my real wedding anniversary!!!! But another 8 days!!!!! You have to be kidding me!! How am I going to push a huge baby out??

ETA: They just called me and changed it to AUGUST 1ST!!!!!!! OMG IM GOING TO FLIP OUT!!! I AM GOING TO CRY!! I WANT TO SWITCH DOCTORS!!! If my baby is already 9 lbs and Im due on Saturday why not pull him out NOOOOOWWWW!

sorry to hear the doc keeps pushing you off..doesn't he know it's hot!!!!

My neighbor is in the same situation as you. She was due 5 days ago and they won't induce until next week...

Her little girl is 9 lbs already as well...she's ready to blow!!!!

Try some gardening...my mom said thats when she went into labor.....too bad I didnt inherit the green thumbs like she has though

try taking a long walk (with a cell phone! ) I hear that exercise brings on labor.

I would try to relax.......they always guess high......if u r totally desperate drink castor oil....works trust me! good luck and keep cool

Awwwww honey...I'm so sorry. I've been on baby watch with everyone else (even though I may not post about it often). Keep as occupied as you can under the circumstances, and don't do anything the doctor has told you not to do. He'll be here before you know it!

you may want to light a candle and start chanting...

repeat minumum of 20 times and get back to me!!

My SIL swears that evening primrose oil made her go into labor.

Ahh...I'm sorry Amy. If this helps at all, at this point the sonograms tend to be off +/- 2 lbs, so the baby might not be as big as you think. Also, being induced increases your chances of a C-Section by over 50%. Hang in there...your baby boy will come soon.

My friend was in a similiar situation and she decided to schedule a cesarian rather than wait because the baby was over 8lbs and then they might have had to dis-locate the baby's arm to push through....so she went the cesarian route.
