The only cool thing about 7/28 is thats Anthony & my real wedding anniversary!!!! But another 8 days!!!!! You have to be kidding me!! How am I going to push a huge baby out??
ETA: They just called me and changed it to AUGUST 1ST!!!!!!! OMG IM GOING TO FLIP OUT!!! I AM GOING TO CRY!! I WANT TO SWITCH DOCTORS!!! If my baby is already 9 lbs and Im due on Saturday why not pull him out NOOOOOWWWW!

they probably won't induce the 28th b/c it's a friday in the event you need a c-section...they don't like to do 'planned' ones on fridays...so they can relax on the weekend and not worry that you have complications...lame, but it's what they do. i had a friend who had to have a c-section last year with her second baby due to complications forcing a c-section with the first and the baby would've been born on my b-day, but it was a friday and they refused for that reason...she was annoyed...but there wasn't much she could do.

Ok.. that's going to sounds 'silly' but if you go to an accupuncturist he can place needles around your ankle and you will go into labor. One of my teached did it for his wife for their 2 kids.
Pregnant women should not be massage on the ankle, you can accidentally start labor. Seriously, it's well known in the 'massage world'.
If you don't want to go to an accupuncturist, you could have someone do an 'asian' massage (amma, etc..) and do accupressure on some specific points on your ankle (no needles).
Let me know if you want more information.
It's based on TCM (traditional chinese medicine).

I heard about that. I am so not cool with needles but I do have a gift certificate for a very long massage. Do you think people at the regular spa could do it?

You will have to ask for a pregnancy massage. You may be lying on your side.
Most massage therapist may not know about the accupressure points. But they probably know about not touching the ankles (this is actually what you want). Please let me know if you want me to find you a massage therapist that does it.

Amy I wish you the best of luck. My mother had 4 kids each over 8 pounds with myself, the last, being 9 and a half pounds. If you like, I can give you her number and you can ask her how she did it. She would LOVE the conversation and that in and of itself may just force labor upon you!

Anthony & I are going to walk Port Jeff today right up by the hospital in case Knowing my luck NOTHING will happen.
Keep your fingers crossed for me today ladies!! Baby is now FOUR days overdue! I am the LAST July pregnancy on my parenting site to go. Even the August babies have started coming
