I consider my house to be clean and feel so violated that these THINGS, as someone put it above, 'are pooping on my stuff'!
I really don't understand how or why they only made it to my junk drawer full of paper, lightbulbs, screwdrivers, batteries, etc. and to one other place. But I guess I'll move all my food up higher and... my dishes lower? Eeew, if I saw poop on a plate I don't think I'd ever eat again.
What do I clean the drawers with? I feel like Fantastik wouldn't cut it.
And thank you to all the girls who posted with tips specific to me being a vegetarian... you gave me a lot to think about. Especially that last post copied from Yahoo - it really is true that although I'm a veggie, my and FH's health and well being has to take priority and if these things are pooping on my stuff, 'urinating constantly' (never thought of that before, and, GROSS), and gnawing through electrical wires, then I have to do what I have to do to get 'em out of here.
This whole thing started when I was looking through my drawer for Tanger coupons. Maybe I should just go shopping to clear my head and deal with this when I get back.
Thanks again for all the help, ladies!

Re: Ugh! Eeew! Eeew! Eeew!
I had a small gray mouse in my house once -- that sucker was intelligent!!! I found out he was in my walk-in closet and I put like ten sticky glue traps all around the door and then I watched and waited for him to get stuck when he tried to escape. The little ******* sniffed around for a while and then walked back and forth apparently assessing the situation. Then he went toward the back of my closet, ran full speed and leaped over the traps! Holy sh*t I was screaming my head off! I didn't know mice could jump. We eventually caught him because he slipped and fell in an empty vase but that thing had me going for a while.

OMG so funny! When my parents had mice we watched them come in, run along the garage wall, run right over the traps.....and then we would see them again in the basement....running right over the darm traps! WTH! I am telling you that only the poision helped!
BEWARE if you have pets tho....our dog ate the posion too and had to have her stomach pumped :(

Bleach? Really? I've been using Antibacterial Fantastik (have been at this for about an hour now). I guess that makes sense but I'd have to go out and buy it, and I'm worried about it ruining the wood cabinets.
I was going to go shopping to take my mind off it, but I knew I'd just have to come home and clean, so I started right on that. And - yuck. Just... yuck.
Thanks for hearing me out, girls! Nice to have someone to complain to till FH gets home from work. You better believe he's taking me out for dinner tonight for this.
