UGH! Getting married in 31 days and still no HM!

We just can't decide!! There are TOO many options out there!!! UGH!!!! I feel like we're never going to decide and we're not going to book on time..........

We have gone back and forth from the Dominican Republic which I LOVE, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos LOVE LOVE, Cancun and Maldives......but JUST can NOT make a decision! We are driving ourselves nuts!!!!

How did you guys all decide on your honeymoons with SOOOOOOO many freaking options out there?????

i think that parrot cay looks amazing! (just a suggestion!)

we wanted to do maldives, but the plane ride was just TOO long for us! parrot cay looks fun, tropical, and secluded!

FH and I LOVE cruising, so we looked at the date and options and it pretty much jumped out at us! Then we are heading over to Aruba for 5 days at an all inclusive. We figured this is one time in many years we'll be able to take a 2 week vacation. We wanted to do something we would not normally do, Aruba's and the 2 weeks. You will make the right decision. Is something that you wouldn't normally do? Good Luck

We wanted someplace we hadn't been to and where there weren't any children....beautiful ambiance, kinda tropical, and romantic. FH wanted Tahiti or Fiji, but that was too expensive, so we settled for a half-way Hawaii. It's cheaper than the South Pacific and as tropical as the Caribbean...which we've done already.

we first talked about what kind of HM we wanted- for us, very relaxed, very secluded, just lounge on beach all day, eat nice dinners and spend time alone together. We went from there by looking up HM spots with this kind of description... spots for secluded romantic HM.

Read up on tripadvisor. Tons of good info.

GL figure it all out!

First I would go with what you can afford budget wise and figure out for how long of a vaca you want. Then I would pick a place I'd never go to on a regular vacation. Its your honeymoon... pick Tahiti, Greek Islands, Maldives, Seychelles!! So many choices I know!
We're doing a Mediterranean Cruise out of Venice, then seeing 3 different countries that include, Italy, Greece (Greek Isles) and Croatia. We're then spending an additional 6 days in Italy!

was the deciding factor, unfortunately. We went with Cancun- all inclusive and the most inexpensive of the bunch!

We were really close with booking a Cancun HM, but then were worried that it would be too touristy.......is there an area in Cancun that's more secluded?? I've never been there, so I don't know.....maybe we are wrong? I've only been to Puerto Vallarta (sp?)...........

I would think the Riviera Maya (which is where we're staying) might be less touristy because it's about 45 minutes outside of the city.

Did you check out Royal Hideaway (wish we could have afforded that place) or Excellence Riviera Cancun (our place)? Both are all inclusive and adults only I think...

Maybe we'll check out those places and see what we can find......... I hope we can find SOMETHING..........

That's great advice and maybe you're right! Maybe we're putting too much pressure on ourselves because it IS our HM..........

so we.. booked a cruise- to 4 Islands..
felt like we would see a bit of everything?

it was a good deal, booked through BJs- they giv vacation DEALS !!!!

Still No HM? Too bad you're not going to Hawaii since we'd be there the same time. What about an Island? Aruba, St Marteen, a cruise, Florida Keys? Sooo much to choose from. Try going to a Travel Agent and ask their opinions.

This may sound silly but when FH and I try to decide on vacations we look at a globe. There are so many amazing places in this world and wherever you choose will be great.
BTW: We are going to Thailand for for 2 weeks..only 5 days till we leave!

We are going to Riviera Maya Royal Hideaway. I picked that place because its close and I want to relax. I don't want to be on to many excursions. I want to dive, snorkel and drink. There must be someplace that you really want to go?

There are so many options out there...but Fh and I knew that Tahiti wasn't a place that we can always go to, being that it is$$$ and so far away. That is when we decided that the HM is going to be an all out BIG deal vacation for the two of us to never forget!!!
