UGH! Getting married in 31 days and still no HM!

We just can't decide!! There are TOO many options out there!!! UGH!!!! I feel like we're never going to decide and we're not going to book on time..........

We have gone back and forth from the Dominican Republic which I LOVE, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos LOVE LOVE, Cancun and Maldives......but JUST can NOT make a decision! We are driving ourselves nuts!!!!

How did you guys all decide on your honeymoons with SOOOOOOO many freaking options out there?????

We decided by not deciding yet!! We're going to wait to take our HM until next winter, so we haven't decided. All of your options sound great! Maybe you could talk to a TA and see what is most affordable, has the best package, etc. I'm sure you'll find a great place!!

was the deciding factor, unfortunately. We went with Cancun- all inclusive and the most inexpensive of the bunch!

We were really close with booking a Cancun HM, but then were worried that it would be too touristy.......is there an area in Cancun that's more secluded?? I've never been there, so I don't know.....maybe we are wrong? I've only been to Puerto Vallarta (sp?)...........

Same here - we went with Sandals Jamacia. They were running an amazing deal when we booked.

We haven't booked our honeymoon yet either but I have been to Turks and Caicos twice on vacation. It is beautiful and there really isn't a lot to do except hang out on the beach and relax. It was just what to doctor ordered when we went

I would think the Riviera Maya (which is where we're staying) might be less touristy because it's about 45 minutes outside of the city.

Did you check out Royal Hideaway (wish we could have afforded that place) or Excellence Riviera Cancun (our place)? Both are all inclusive and adults only I think...

We went with Sandals Antigua after MUCH debate! Whatever you choose, I would definetly go with an all-inclusive!

fh and i went to aventura spa palace in july. we absoutely loved it!! its an all inclusive adults only resort about one hour south of cancun. everything from the food, the service, the pool to the drinks was amazing!! our only complaint was the beach was cr@ppy. please feel free to check out my album for pics.

ETA: we also went to the dominican in dec 05, which we also enjoyed but the food wasnt nearly as good as it was in mexico. but the beaches were much nicer.

We are in the same boat. We want a once in a lifetime trip but the wallet is saying otherwise.

FYI..FH & I did an all-inclusive to the Dominican Republic and had an amazing time!

Sorry I lied...our resort isn't in the Riviera Maya it's in Puerto Morelos- wherever that is!

It was easy for us b/c we really can't afford to go to many places. So, we're going to the Poconos for 6 days and 5 nights.

Riviera May is beautiful! I got engaged there this past January! Wasn't to touristy.

Wasnt to hard a decision. Aruba - it's out of the hurricane belt is close by and isnt THAT much money - although its enough.

We have the rest of our lives to go anywhere else on our 'would like to visit' lists.

FH and I went to Riviera Maya and stayed at Secrtes Excellence... this was 20 min away from cancun... this was the best vacation we ever went on. It was gorgeous and def not touristy. I say try it out but Cancun is beautiful and you def can't go wrong with it.

Kristy, thanks for making me think of my honeymoon again! I just read all the latest reviews on tripadvisor.com and I am so stinkin' excited for this place!

Considering all the awesome reviews of Excellence Riviera Cancun- you can definitely put that at the top of your list!

I kinda thought the same thing of Cancun, but it really depends on where you stay...there are excellent adults only/honeymoon resorts as well. A very popular one is Royal Hideaway.
