That is so frustrating. How can he be so inonsiderate? New house or not, he made a commitment! I understand that now that he has tried to back out you don't want to have him back in the bridal party but make sure you're not cutting off your nose to spite your face (I love that expression!). Is this a friend your fh will remain close with? Can someone else replace him so you can maintain bridal part symmetry? Maybe you should sleep on it and get back to him on Monday or Tuesday. I hope your headache feels better soon! I'm sure this isn't helping!

omg...what is that all about? if he is still attending the wedding then he might as well be apart of the wedding party? doesnt make sense? All i know is that if you accept the position to be a BM or GM....you should go through with it..its such an honor.....I can understand there are circumstances which might not make people available to be at the wedding...but come on he is still attending the wedding....

dont worry!!!! just remember what a wedding is all about! You are going to marry the love of your love and there are far worse things out there to worry about!!!

That doesn't make any sense at all. If you can't afford to be in the wedding, how can he afford to come to the wedding??

I completely understand why you have a headache!!

im not sure I understand why? i dont see why being a GM would interfere with buying a house.
how much of a financial committment is being a GM? doesnt he only have to pay for the rental tux?

People are ridiculous! I understand your anger. We had a GM and 2 BM drop out within weeks of the wedding. It's all good. You're better without him. DOn't let your anger get the better of you. Enjoy your time with the people that want to be there with you.

So sorry Sweetie!!

I know how you feel we had a GM drop out. We may have another, Not sure yet!

My bridal party was uneven to begin with, now there are less and less guys. But, I'm not going to stress it. The important people will be involved in our wedding, that's how I see it.

Good Luck!!!
Try to relax!!!!!

oh i agree with you these people make it seems like your asking for a down payment on a house my god how much does it cost someone to be in a bridal party 1000.00 -2000.00 i mean come on. if you cant do that .. for a friend that is crazy

you know, the whole thing sounds wierd, but dont stress about it. let your fiance handle this, because I think the GMs should be his territory. if he wants him back, then let him be a part of the wedding party.

Isn't he supposed to pay for part of the bach. party also? If so, I could understand where he is coming from. He could be concerned about the $$ aspect.

Now, telling you 2 months before the wedding is 'not nice' but apparently he is feeling bad about it and even called your FH back that he would be in the BP.

I'm sooo sorry you are going through this. I understand the friend might have $ issues, especially w/ buying a house, but he commited to being in your bp months ago. How can you break that commitment 2 months b4? Also they had to know they were buying a house b4 now.....

How was it left?

No matter how it turns out, your day w/b gorgeous. I had 1 of my girls drop out due to being far along pregnant & she can't get on a plane to fly up here, so I was devastated (she's my best friend & baby was a surprise) and will now how an uneven bp too.
