I had bought a long (bubble type) winter coat DKNY from Macys last month. Its great and has kept me warm. Well I did laundry tonight and washed it and followed the directions yet now its like destroyed its no longer puffy like and smells funny and the fur trim around the hood looks so raggedy and worn.
I'm so upset, because I loved this coat. Whats the policy at Macys is it exchangeable/returnable if its been ruined/defective? I've never had this happen so I'm clueless.

I would bring it there and say what you just said on here. The worst thing that could happen is they say no or at least give you the companies contact number.
That happened to me once with a comforter that we bought through brylane home. They were so nice and sent us a new one without even showing proof.

Thanks Jen. I can't believe this even happened. All my other clothes came out smelling fresh so I know it wasnt the machines I used.
