i woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat so i took an antibiotic i had lying around. i just woke up with a huuge lump in my throat and its gagging me when i talk. it hurts sooo bad =(. i hope its not strep. ive never had it before. anyone know?

Yes! It's not cool. I didnt know I had it at the time, but I was in the worst pain ever.
Check your tonsils, if you have white spots on it, that's most likely strep. I really hope you dont have it....its the worst!

k so no tonsils...i wonder if strep is possible with no tonsils...dont know, but you should take off work. I think it might get worse-plus an excuse to watch Maury today haha! I almost called out but always my luck, when i call out faking sick, i really DO get sick!

Do you think its the change in weather? I woke up at 3am not being able to swallow at all and kept drinking... now i have vicks and their yucky
