Ugh! I have the flu

So Sunday evening I started to get really bad chills and by bedtime I had a temperature of 100.8. I took some Motrin and went to bed and the fever broke...or so I thought. It came back at 101 and I took more Motrin and slept for most of the day. My mom called and made a doctor's appt for me and I went around 4PM. Still had a fever of 101. Was in a complete fog. Could barely answer the questions the doctor was asking. Needed help walking. They did a flu culture and I waited for the results and I have the genuine flu.

The doctor prescribed Tamaflu and a decongestant as well as telling me to continue with Motrin.

I feel so much better today, after only two doses, but I am in the awkward in between state. I am not feeling horrible like yesterday, but not wonderful. I am stuck in the middle. I just want to get better.

both my nephews and my niece had the flu for the past 2 weeks! Its horrible with children!!!

Whatever is in this Tamiflu stuff, it is knocking the flu right out of me. I feel SO much better and I have only had two doses. Right now I just feel a little tired and congested. No more fever, no more dizziness


If you think you have the flu, go to the doctor and get some Tamiflu.

I had the flu in 2000 and it did something to my inner ear and I had problems with vertigo for almost two years after! UGH!

I didn't get a shot (I never do), and I'm sooo scared of getting it again.

It sounds like so many people are getting it now! YIKES!
