Out of 57 people invited on my side, only 26 peopl are coming. That is less than 50%. My family has really shown their true colors during this wedding process I need hugs, please!

Thanks. But what hurts is that there are certain family members who clearly don't care because they are not coming. People who I thought did care.

Beth - have lots of hugs!!! As many have stated before, you find out who your family and friends really are in this wedding process. Just know there are those of us here who will be here to support you and be there to vent to!

Yeah, but those were only some family members. My close cousin (I drove 8 hours to be at her wedding a little over a year ago) declined and did not even give a reason!

Beth you're entitled!! Weddings are supposed to be a happy time - one where we as brides plan the day when we will start our new lives with the man we love, and ask our family and friends to share in that joy. Unfortunately, wedding planning is on the top ten list of life's stressors, and now you know why.

I know how you feel. I had family come up with the stupidest excuses (including a preschool graduation, which I posted about earlier). I might not even make my minimum now.
