So unlike a smart girl who probably planned this out... I just realized I'm getting married in like a year, right. I noticed that the date of my period has been moving up two days per month. Like last month I got it on the 26, this month it's the 24, etc. I just did the math and in a year it will move up like 20 spots meaning there's a great chance I will have it the day of my wedding.
HOW ANNOYING! But as a friend once pointed out, better to have it then since the chances of it being nearly over or over on your honey moon. We'll see

ive been getting mine around the time of my wedding, so hopefully by this time next year it will have moved up....someone told me about this magic pill that makes it skip a month...i have 2 find out the name.

I HEARD THAT TOO! A coworker told me she'd borrow some pill from a friend and not get it, but she, from what I thought, said it was birth control. She'd only take it when going on vacation.
It's not even the sex part - it's the annoyance of having it.

Today is a year from my wedding, and I just had this exact conversation with a girl I work with. She said 'oh that means you'll have your period on your wedding day' I said 'nah, I planned it out and although it's never exactly 28 days, it will work out fine'..she literally laughed at me and said 'you planned your wedding around your period' I said 'absolutely - you know how cranky I get' LOL It will work out....Somehow our body just knows.

That's crazy, I was trying to locate a site that did just that! I mean they have sites to find out the weather possibilities on your Wedding Day and they have the 'Best Days To Get Preg' days web site... why not a 'period on your wedding day' site! Ha ha!

i take the bc pill, and i planned our wedding around when i'll be getting it. it's like clockwork, every 4th monday between 9 and 11 i get my period. i'll be getting it the day we come back from our honeymoon which is perfect. if i wasn't on the pill, i'd never know when my period comes, i'm super irregular.

I wouldn't take the pill just for vacation, like your friend recommended. It is hormones, that really can do a number on your system. I would try the pill out several months before to see how you react to it. They may or may not be for you. If you react well, then its easy to skip your period once on them. Your dr. will explain.

I don't like medications. I've been avoiding the pill my entire life. Hopefully I won't need to take them. My period is so damn short anyway, and I have good pain meds for the cramps, I guess I will just deal. T

So glad to know that Im not the only one worrying about this! I should have planned around my period but it didnt come to my mind when we set the date in stone. Hopefully Ill get lucky and Ill get it before the wedding but I doubt it very much so! I def dont want it on my honeymoon... That will just ruin it all for me.... And its not just the sex.. We'll see!

Ok so I just went on that website and according to it, my period will end the day before my wedding... Knowing my luck, Ill have a long period that month hahaha I hope it works the way the site says its going to... Even if it was my last day on my wedding day, Id be thrilled!

Yeah, it's totally not just the sex, it's the sick feeling I get and the not being able to just be relaxed on the beach etc.
Let's pray for two things.
No rain on our weddings and that our periods END the morning we wake up for our wedding day.
