ugh ppl are annoying...rsvp vent

we got an RSVP from FH's friend and his fiance....they accepted for 2 1/2 ppl....the 1/2 being their 2 mth old baby......ummm she wasn't on the invite...grrr

its like we have other family members who arent bringing babies why would it be ok for them?!

You'd think they would know better being they're planning their own wedding. So irritating.

I was sooooo afraid of ppl doing that, I decided to out on the Response card how many seats were reserved for them.

yeah and they even wrote a note saying they request that they bring her and she doesnt require a plate...but call if this is a problem. we are clearly calling

Tell me about it, I still don't know how an rsvp for 2 people turned into 6 adults and 2 kids on FH's side.

Wow! I would be pissed. As of right now I have 2 kids coming but one is by choice and the other I have no choice. My cousin is now trying to squeeze her daughter in and my BF told me she is bringing her 9month old to my ceremony at the RH. WHY!?!?!? What makes people think they can bring their children to an adult party.... So frustrating. Try to nip that in the bud ASAP.

yep and of course FMIL won't tell them no they can't come, whatever she's paying for those extra people and everything the extra favors, etc. not me.

We had to do this... twice. And I felt horrible.. but if we let ONE family bring their kids, we'd have to let them all, and then it would be a circus and not a wedding.

i had the same thing happen to me last week! except she only rsvp'd for herself and her 6 month old. the baby was not invited. i ended up getting in touch with her and she said she's only able to come if she brings the baby. so i told her we can't make an exception for her and not for other people and we have to keep it an adult only reception... annnnd i haven't heard back from her!!
