Ugh. Prayers please? **Update!!!**
I'm sitting here stewing between being worried and pissed.
My grandma back in Michigan is in the hospital. They brought her into the ER in the middle of the night because she was complaining of chest pains and difficulty breathing.
My mom is an RN and is there right now and told my aunt she didn't need to worry that she's fine. Apparently she had really low blood pressure when she came in.
I'm annoyed because I had to hear about this from my aunt. She called me and said 'I'm not calling to freak you out, but I know you talk to grandma every morning and I didn't want you to be worried.'
My mom hasn't even called me or texted me to let me know what is going on. I'm livid.
Just. Maybe throw some good vibes out there that my grandma will come home soon and be okay. I'm sure she's fine. The two of us are super super close though. I'm not prepared, nor will I ever be prepared for when the time comes that something happens to her. We're like BFFs. And my mom is extremely jealous of our relationship - I hate to think that she's not calling to tell me because of that but I sort've can't help but feel that way. She's always making little jabs about how much we talk to eachother.
Thanks girls.
UPDATE:
My grandma has been admitted into the cardiac unit. They did a chest xray to check for pnumonia and she was clear. Did a cat scan to check for something about anorysm or however you spell it and she was clear there. No blood clots. So they're gonna check her heart now. They moved her into a room ... my grandpa brougt her her cell phone so she called me and was in good spirts and joking about it. I'm teasing her that maybe it was the hockey game on last night that got her all worked up. She's a big Red Wings fan and it was a very big game last night.
THANKS GUYS.
I hope they figure it out soon and she gets to come home. It makes me sad thinking about her being stuck there.
