So were painting our second bedroom and I decide to go all out and paint the top of the room blue and the bottom red and put a spiderman border inbetween etc..
The red paint is TERRIBLE! It looks so uneven.. Some spots are light, some are dark.. I finished my second coat and am on my third!!
I bought grey paint for the bathroom today and a odd purple for the bedroom. I so hate painting! I should have just hired someone!!

We recently just painted our basement red and came across the same thing... it took so much more work than any of the other colors we painted. S-u-c-ks!

I keep posting about this AURA paint from BM. We used dark colors and it coats in 1 coat! You can do two but really doesnt need it. More $$ per gal but soooooooo worth it. No aggravation of uneven and if you need to tuch it up wait til it dries and spot touch it up it blends in and you see NO MARKS! It is also completely washable in any finish! Check it out on the BM website
