UGH! Why oh why???????

So I just got an email from 2 of my bridesmaids who picked up their dresses. Well, actually they were picking up 5 of the dresses from the seamstress (not the same one I was using for my dress)......and they told me the seamstress cut the train off ALL the dresses!

Apparently, she thought when I said a sweep train, to her it meant cut it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now 4 of the dresses have trains on them and 5 don't!!!!!!!

I don't even have the time or energy to be mad about this..........I just needed to vent to my wonderful ladies!

Ugh!!!
so annoying!!! Well think of it this way at least no one will be taking pics of the back of your girls dresses.

Yah, they can, but that's just an added expense to the other girls and their time too. It's not worth it........

Well, at this point, it would probably be best to even them all out. Im so sorry about this.

Added expense?!?!?!?!? Bull$hit!!!!!!! I would be in there telling them they will be doing all the other dresses on their dime or I will take them to the BBB. R U Kidding me, they mess up and then want you to pay to fix it, I'm glad ur not upset, but I am for you.

My heart goes out to you. I know how hard you have worked and each little stupid annoying and major hassle will be all worth it in the end. You are coming down to the wire now, just let it all roll off. WHO CARES? It's just a silly little thing that no one will notice. All my girls wore different dresses - out of 7 girls only 4 of them had the same designer - the other 3 were each from different dress makers. And you know what? They all looked great and we got so many comments on them NOT looking the same. Everyone liked it so much. Whatever!

You will be beautiful on May 12 no matter what! I am totally looking forward to the pictures of that day!

That's probably why I'm not letting it get to me that much. We have been dealing with WAY too much crap during this planning process and I REFUSE to let myself get stressed out 1.5 weeks from from our wedding.......

Yes, the dresses will be different, but you know what? Who cares.........

I would say have the other girls cut theirs but with your wedding day so close I wouldn't bother. I have seen plenty of BP's were the dresses are different, some really different but all in the same color. It's definitely not something to stress about or loss sleep over.

Geez. Why are people so dumb???
Even if you don't have the others cut off the train, it'll be fine. No one will notice.
Were they going to be bustled at some pt? Maybe bustle the whole time?
Or, since it's split pretty evenly, it might look intentional to have some with trains, others w/o.

Well THEY screwed up, so they should cut the trains off the other girls' dresses for you for free! It's their fault for doing that. Sorry that happened, things keep comming up for you!!
