my office isn't closed, but the railroad isn't running and i have no vacation days left.. ughhh, so annoying!

Don't feel to bad my job never closes plus we get docked if we do not come in..so I have days but probably won't get paid
When they tell people to stay off the roads and streets it should be an automatic free day off

it's so ridiculous..
the last time we had a blizzard like this, i trooped in it into work, which took me 4 hours, only for them to close early. i was pissed!
at this rate, i'm not leaving my apartment.

umm, i'm wondering the same thing. g0d forbid a law firm shuts done for a day =\
i just called and told them that i can't make it in right now bc the railroad isn't running. my bosses aren't even in!

I am so sorry that you are p[ut in this situation. I would just stay home. Tell them to turn on the news and then THEY should feel bad for not closing!

I love how employers dont care about the saftey of their employees. They havent plowed our streets in hours and it would be bascially impossible for me to get to work good thing im on vacation but they probably closed my job anyway. FH had to stay home since the trains werent running and I was not driving my car in the snow.

if your bosses aren't in then i'd say forget it! my boss just called me and said my branch might not open bc there are only 2 of us that can make it and we need at least 3 to open!! keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

They don't think about the car or truck that could slide into you or your car.
