Check Virgin America whenever they have their 3 days sales which is like once a month. I live in Cali and fly back often to NYC direct and never pay more than $350. Fights from NY to Vegas are really expensive right now (probably from price of oil going up) but if you hit Jet Blue or Virgin when they are having one of their sales and can fly on a weekday like outbound thursday, return on Monday, you should be able to get direct flights for under $350.

Also, August is FREAKIN hot in Vegas, so flights and hotels are typically cheaper then.

Good luck and have an amazing bach party!!!

Definitely book Vegas trips (flight and hotel) through expedia or travelocity. You get much better deals than booking hotel and flights separately.

Sign up to become an Elevate Member (it's free). They send me emails all the time for their sales.

I'm flying back to NY direct for my shower for $279 in April (that's with tax!!). I just booked it last week. I had watched the flights forever and they were like $550, so I waited until the sale. I will only fly that airline coast to coast (in flight interent, your own tv, good food, wine, etc. :)
