This is kinda cool - someone I went to HS with is now a jewelery designer. It seems she spent 4 yrs in England training with world renowned goldsmiths and she just opened her own store in East Hampton this weekend. And her stuff is like $30k for one necklace
kind makes me feel like a looser! LOL whats even more loserish is that I found this out via facebook!

you're def not a loser....but I feel that way sometimes when I hear about what other people have accomplished...oh well. i would def not be able to make jewelry....i'm not that patient

ur not a loser!! and just cuz her pieces are SELLING for 30k, doesnt mean shes loaded or even making any money yet. its not like she grew the gold and diamonds in her backyard lolol

ITA ur not a loser Stacy! but I l know what u mean..... feel like that myself sometimes, seeing some FB friends going on these amazing adventurous trips that I could never go myself. or seeing ppl making more money and much more advanced in their careers than me. but then I stop myself, and think of all that I got and u know, its pretty awesome and I'm sure there are ppl that see u on FB and jealous of u, just the way it is
