so be honest tell me if im overreacting...

I invited my gf/bm to the bridal show weeks ago when I first saw the AD

she calls me today...leaves me a voicemail...

that her sister broke up with her bf and is sad and doesn't want to be alone, so can she come to the bridal show??

***??!!! I was looking forward to spending time with my gf today, doing bridal things...

do you reallllllly think its a good idea to bring your on the rebound sister to a bridal show???!!!

and none the less, do i really want to hang out with your sister during this? like come on!!!!! i wanted to hang with my gf and have fun...now im just annoyed!

i think you should speak to her about this. if she is a really close gf, she should be able to understand the situation and realize that brining someone on the rebound to a bridal event is only going to make the sister feel worse, not better.

it's only a 3 hour event, she'll have plenty of time to go home to her sister and offer a shoulder to cry on!

Agreed. Why would your friend think of bringing her sister, who just broke up with her bf, to a bridal show? I dont think your friend was thinking!!!

Hmmm.... I think you should tell her that it's RSVP only?

I would explain that it's not really appropriate....Tell her that after the show maybe you'll go back to the house with her and cheer up her sis or something....

give her the option. tell her its not a good idea in your opinion to bring her since she just broke up and this is all wedding related.
if she still wants to come, she'll be miserable - but hopefully, she'll keep it to herself and allow you two to have a fun time.
if she were smart, she would stay home

she hasnt responded with an answer yet

i told her that i need to know whats going on so i can make other plans

i already called 2 of my gfs and they cant attend
