Ughhh BM

does anyone feel like they made a mistake by asking so many people to be in their bridal party? I have 8 girls and its insane trying to get them all together to look at dresses and everything ....i wish i wasnt so excited and just asked them....i should of waited to ask people and im sure i would of ended up with a MUCH smaller bridal party

I literally did not have time to get ALL of my (seven) BMs together at the same time to look at dresses. You just do the best you can.

Yes, you want to make sure they'll be comfortable in the dress, but that doesn't mean you have to make 8 separate trips to the store for each of them to try it on. Go with a few BMs, preferably with different body types to try on dresses. From those who cannot go, get an idea of what they absolutely would NOT want to wear and some ideas of what they would. Talk to the lady about everyone's body types and ask for styles that would flatter all of them.

Then, if you pick one, send the designer and style number out to the girls who couldn't make it. Give them a certain amount of time to go try it on if they wish or voice any concerns. Then, just go with the best you can find that seems to be comfortable for everyone.

You won't get 8 girls to all LOVE the dress... you just have to make sure no one is totally uncomfortable and do the best you can from there.

3 of my BMs are from out of town, too (far away), so there was no way they could go dress shopping. I've also only been in one wedding where I was included in the choosing of the BM dresses... All the others I just went to the store to order it when I was told to.
