Half-up, Half-down or Up-do??? I seriously cannot decide. I like both styles, and I don't know which to do. I like my hair half-up, but feel it's a little too princess-like, and I like up-dos, but I don't want anything too stiff or tight. Gah!
What's your stance on hairstyles? Do you prefer one over the other?
I had one hair trial for a half-up/half-down style, and I should be going back in another month or so to try a full up-do.

Well I am choosing updo...because I am getting married in the summer and I know if my hair were down it would be annoying to me..Also I think if its all up it has a better chance of lasting the entire day...thats just my opinion

I was originally going to do an up-do, but when I had my trial, I fell in love with the half-up style. I think my face is too round for an updo.
I LOVE all down - but don't trust my hair to not go flat/limp by the end of the day. Since I am having an afternoon wedding in July (HOT HOT HOT) I am doing all up.
I had a trial w/ half up/half down and it was okay, but my hair just won't hold curls!!! And especially since we want to take pics outside on the beach and our ceremony is outside I just don't want to worry about my curls coming out and looking 'droopy'!
I don't know if an up-do is 'me' so i'm going to have a trial in a few months to see. This is what I love (but w/ a smaller tiara):

I LOVE 1/2 UP AND 1/2 DOWN, BUT MY HAIR TENDS BE FRIZZY IN HUMID WEATHER SO I AM PUTTING MINE UP/.... JUST THINK OF HOW YOUR HAIR WILL HANDLE SUCH WEATHER

i'm doing all up that way i don't have to think about it at all! i'm also worried because it's the summer and my hair will go flat if it's down.

You're getting married in the winter, so you may be safer w/ half up/down since you're not battling heat, humidity and frizz!!

I will wear my hair up for the wedding. It's more formal and I really want to look like an incredibly elegant version of myself. I also do not want to look like I do everyday and to me, if i wear my hair half up/down I will look very similiar to my everyday style barring the white dress and veil. I want to shock the crowd when they first see me!

after watching Bridezilla with my FH- he made it clear he doesn't like that bridal look
I am going to do half up- half down- my dress is strapless and it's decmeber- so I would feel better with some hair on my shoulders

yup updo for me the same reason...plus at CLM we come in on a boat...i want my hair to stay in place

I think it all depends on how your hair takes to curls. If your hair doesn't hold curls, then it may be better to go with an updo, so it will stay the whole day. I think both ways can look elegant. Have them try it both ways at your trial and see which one you like better.

Do you mind posting a pic of yourself? Sometimes some hairstyles look better on others in comparison.
For myself, I'm doing my hair with a low bun and a lot of 'volume' in the front b/c I have a VERY round head, and would look bald if my hair was pulled back.

After having 2 trials I decided to go with the half up half down look. It just felt more me. With the updo I didn't look like myself.
