it takes like 8 weeks if you dont expedite it.. Just get it now so you dont have to worry !!

I'd say apply now and get it out of the way. I don't know if you are planning on HMing right after the wedding but it's better to have the early then be scrambling closer to the date and then have to possibly pay and expedited fee for it.
I wanna say it took about 2-3 months for mine to come in but I hear people say it took up to 6 months for it to come in for them.

it depends on when you do it. there are busier times of the year too. it normally can take 6-8 weeks. i would def get it now just to get it over with and know i have it
worst case you can get it rushed for an addtl cost
yeah just go do that now, we're doing ours soon too.

i takes about 1½ to get them back, unless you rush them. but then it'll cost you an arm and a leg since now they are making them with this digital chip thing. if you already have one, you can renew it by getting the forms at the post office. if you have to get a whole new one, you still have to go to the post office to get the forms and submit them to them

this... and the prices went up 35% so do it as early as possibe so you dont end up like me and cant go on your originally planned honeymoon!

a few years ago, i went to jamaica with a few of my friends. i booked the trip, but waited until the last minute to get my passport. it was a nightmare. the week of my trip, my passport still hadn't arrived and they refused to expedite it until 24 hours before my trip. i didn't get my passport until the morning i left.
not only did i have to pay the passport fee, i also had to pay the expedite fee, which i think was like $75. at the time.
i'd do it as soon as possible just to avoid the stress and it's good to have regardless.

I applied to renew passport on July 7th, did NOT expedite and got it on July 29th. So they are speedy right now!
