So today FH went to Hoboken to drink during the day and play beer pong with his friends. I hate when he does this...I find it so stupid to drink during the day...we are not in college anymore. He always gets really drunk and annoying and ends up staying out soo long. He's been there since the early morning. I wanted to spend some time with him today, but now its 7:15 and he promised me he'd be home by 5. Ughhh!!!
Am I overreacting?? Be honest...please!

OK, well honestly I would be upset and I probably would have called him 5 times by now. that being said, I would also think that I were overreacting. I don't think the men do this stuff purposely. I really think the old line, 'I lost track of time' applies to every man... he's drinking, having fun, has no clue what time it is, but doesn't mean leave you hanging. he'll be home soon!

You're totally not over reacting... I would be worried too. I've had it happen to me when the FH is out with his friends drinking all day and I'm at home waiting for him.

I had an ex who drank way too much and stuff like this was a weekly occurrence. It drove me nuts.

I used to get upset when FH did stuff like that. But then I realized that I've been guilty of doing the same thing myself, so I bite my tongue now.
