ugh....jury duty......

ugh....jury duty......

So......I was on 'call-in' jury duty this week...and then i got called in today......and OF COURSE, I was chosen for the jury....
So now I have to go back to court next week and I'm going to have to be out of work....what a pain!
I already sat on a jury once before......why do I have to be such a desireable juror?????

So, for now, you may refer to me simply as Juror #4!

I don't what it is about certain people that they get picked all the time. My boss has been on a few.

I guess it's the regular District Court.....

I think they pick me becuase I look like a nice person....I look young and impressionable....little do they know......... (*evil laughter*)

and i guess i answered the questions the right way....oh well. i'm a terrible liar!

You must be incredibly likeable to keep getting picked, Palebride!!

I must be a strange person (don't agree anyone!) but I actually like being on jury duty. I was on a jury once with a lot of girls close to my age, and the case was so ridiculous that we would go out for lunch break and laugh about the stupidity of it!

And since the courthouse was closer to home than work is, I was home by 3:30pm everyday - it was like a mini vaction for me!

I know - I'm weird!

Oh I loved the first time I was on jury duty...I had no job becasue I was right out of college....so it was great. I gotp aid and all I had to do was listen to a bunch of people argue (kind of like being on LIW )
But this time, I have a job....and I'm a little nervous about missing too many days...although I guess the 7th graders will get along without me. And the courthouse IS closer to my house.....and I get to sleep a little later....ther are positives!!

Im surprised they didnt dismiss you because you are a teacher.
I have always wanted to sit on a jury.
Maybe this will be a good experience

I was called into jury duty once and I wasn't picked. I would have loved to be picked. It was a murder trial. I was 19 at the time. I was a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the time..so the attorneys kept on asking me if I was friendly with the police officers that went to the school also (a lot of police officers go to John Jay) and I told them no, which was the truth but they still didn't pick me

if i had known so many people wanted to go - i would have let you take my identity for a little bit......
might be illegal...but that's ok!

i just dont know - i hope this trial doesn't disappoint me - last time i was the foreperson and got to read the verdict...and got to see some nasty pictures of a woman's nether-regions (it was medical malpratce...use your imagination).
let's hope this one will be just as good!!

I was almost on a jury for a murder trial.. they were interviewing me and stuff.. it was so exciting.. I would love to be on a jury.. the man who was on trial was there and I just kept staring at him to get a read on him... I was so nervous though... but unfornately they didnt pick me.. but everyone else thought they were going to pick me because the lawyers kept asking me questions.. oh well
