So I had to take my car in to the emissions place to get my new license plate stickers on Friday since mine ran out today. My check engine light was on a whle ago and we took it to the dealer and they told us what was wrong with it. So FH decides he is going to save $$ and fix it himself. So he buys the part for like 100 bucks and 'fixes' it. Well, we went to the DEQ place Friday and the car failed!!! My car isnt that old (2003) so I was pissed. So we had to take a day off today and we took it back to the dealer and found out there was something else that they didn't tell us was wrong, but we had to get it fixed today because my plates expire tonite. Well, we got it all fixed (another 500 bucks later!!!!) and we go to the emissions place only to find out that they are all closed on Monday! AAAAH. So now I have to drive around with the expired plates and take even more time off tomorrow to get all of this straigtened out. Ugh, I hate dealing with car stuff! Sorry, I needed to rant and FH isnt home for me to unleash the wrath on

oh man so sorry to hear.....FH and I had to take both our cars in last week........1200 dollar later the cars were fixed. I wanted someone to jump out and say...........JUST KIDDING....but no, the check had to be written.

I have also been in car hell lately. First during an icestorm my windshield cracked. Then FH was driving my car on the crazy beltway down here and some looney hit us. We did a 180 into oncoming traffic and almost died Thank god the lady admitted fault and her insurance company took care of everything. So last week I finally had my car back. This weekend I was parked at a shopping center and some arse hit my car. I come out of the store to find my light hanging off and my car completely scratched up. The person didn't even leave a note, no sorry, NOTHING I had just gotten my car back 8 days ago. I am just pissed. Now i have to pay a $200 dollar deductible and drive a rent a car again!

I know I have an appt. this Thursday for the bodyshop etc. At least its drivable

I remember dealing with that when i had my first car but the thing was old and had like 100,000miles on it haha
