Keep in mind that my wedding is just about 8 days away...
So today my mom called from work and told me that a shelf came out of the wall and textbooks and curriculum binders fell on her. She them had to go to the doctor bc she had a bump and bruise. Well turns out she separated her shoulder...thank God she's only in the sling for five days.
Then I go on another dress fitting to find out that my hem is crooked as is the bustle, the top is still too big (they want me to add padding...umm hello I aldreay have dd boobs) and there's a stain on the back of the dress. We were there for over an hour bc the seamstress said give her 20 mins and she'll fix it. 20 mins came and went and I now have another appt on Saturday.
Tonigt I called the rehearsal dinner place and the manager said she would call ms back...do you think I heard back from her?!
Oh and if one more person tells me to relax and not worry bc everything will turn out beautiful or that the details dot matter bc at the end of the day my fh and I will still be married and that's all that counts... I swear I'm going to punch them...

OMG- You have been having all sorts of problems- first the flowers and now the dress- WHERE did you get your dress from?

I got my dress at The Wedding Plaza...at first it was fabulous...freest customer service,wonderful advice...the alterations is what's pissing me off. Everything has been going pretty smoothly so far.
Funny thing is, my mom has been going nuts for me (although I have to say I loved the juiced out steroid comment). I'm basically an only child from a Sicilian family...things are not looking good for the alterations department if the dress isn't fixed by Saturday. With all the bs with the flowers, mom told the florist that if a fake flower steps foot in her house in my bouquet or the centerpieces are wrong, she's suing them, will win, and it will then be called flowers by Rose!
I just don't get why the stress happens now!!!! But thanks for being behind me!!!

Ughhhh sorry people suck!!!!
People don't realize alot of work goes into the little details so yes it does matter jerk!!! lol. I hope everything gets better asap!

can i just tell you that in the week leading up to my wedding, i was stressing over the weather like crazy. the forecast called for Crazy thunderstorms and torrential rains. I would literally cry myself to sleep every night. When i would tell people that was theonly thing i was stressed about they would tell me the same crap you got. Don't tell a bride that! we put so much time and effort into so many details it doesn't matter that we will still be married! we still want the day to be perfect! i guess they think by saying that it makes you feel better but it makes it so much worse, IMO. i would harass the RD venue until they give me all the answers i am waiting for. and what kind of stain was on the dress? i hope they get it fixed perfectly intime for your wedding!
