So, I just realized that we will be away on our honeymoon on Mother's Day. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that I am not bringing my 4 year old with me on my honeymoon! Is that terrible of me??? I didn't even think of Mother's Day when we booked our date!
I think I'm gonna have to teach Grandma how to use Skype!

awwww! I am having a nervous breakdown about leaving my kids for all that time going on a honeymoon. I hate being away from them for more then a day. I have issues lol.

skype is easy enough to teach. i was able to teach my parents who arent computer savvy to use skype in asia!

My grandma can use AIM (and learned on her own), so I'm sure you can teach your mom how to use Skype.

awww i'm sure your kid with be ok with g-ma! I have the same issue too though (we are weekend twins!). We are most likely leaving to go on a cruise the following morning which is Mother's Day but I already told my mom that it's ok because I gave you a gift the day before... a new son LOL

I bet grandma and baby will have a great time together! I loved spending weekends and vacations with my grandparents when I was little.
Dont worry, your Mom will understand. This happens once in a lifetime :)

I feel the same way. I dont want to leave both of my children but we do so much for them ALL THE TIME that I had to realize a little time to ourselves is needed.
