when i ordered the bm dress which were originally going to be lavender we changed our minds and got taupe (champagne) no big deal right? not at all.
but then last night at FBIL's house, FSIL asked me about the suit she needs to get her DH for the wedding, just a nice black suit. i said yes, then i was like oh crap no. b/c i'm thinking a black suit will look funny with the bm dresses.
what do i do??? do i have them get brownish/tanish suits?? i hate when i forget to think things through

Black is fine, Kristi. I don't think it will look weird at all. In fact, I think it will be harder to match a brown/beige to the taupe.
The real question is:
do you think that my hair looks better up
or down?

Black matches everything! Get a tie to match if youd like....but u dont need brown suits at all! The black will make a nice contrast to the taupe!

I don't think that brown and black look bad together. Check out Preshussmurf's Review . She used the color euro taupe with black suits and I think it looks perfectly fine. I've seen many other girls use a lighter champaigne color with black too and I think it looks really elegant too. Do a 'taupe' search in the bridal review board and I'm sure it will ease your worries
just wanted to add that only the sashes of the bridesmaid dresses from her review are the euro taupe color - that will be the color of my bm dresses

I wanted to add that the guys vests were a color that matched the Euro Taupe sash on my girls dresses really well ... so if that's the color you're using for the dresses, you can have the guys wear that color vest with the Black Tuxedos and it'll look all coordinated and stuff

go with black. Black and champagne are gorgeous together.

black will be totaly fine- its neutral
you could also go with the tan too. I like that look for day weddings. (fh said no to me and blew my whole chocolate and aqua thing though)

I was in a beautiful wedding and we wore champagne bmaid dresses. The men wore black tuxes. We looked fab. Super elegant.

the wrong shade of tan might look weird with the taupe, but you can always do dark brown... what color tuxes are you doing? if you are doing black, black for FSIL will be fine
agreed. stick with the black. it's classic and you can always add a champagne tie/vest.
