uh oh! invite RSVPs
I think I messed up.I moved out last year and changed my mailing address, but I want my RSVPs to go to my mom's house b/c some TRADITIONAL relatives don't know I moved before my wedding lol....so my RSVPS say my name and my old address
but now I feel they will ALL be forwarded to my newer address....
I WANT them to go to my parents, so do I have to go to the Post Office and CHANGE it AGAIN??
does anyone know the process??

Re: uh oh! invite RSVPs
I think when you first moved out, if you went to the post office and forwarded all your mail to your new address then yes the rsvp's will go to your new address. But if you didn't go to the post office to forward mail and just changed your address with your bills then the rsvp's will go to your parents.

Does it matter? The guests who send the RSVP will never know it it is forwarded.

Re: uh oh! invite RSVPs
well just leave it because everyone will think you are living at home but the RSVPs will actually go to your new address and even if some dont get forwarded they will go to your mom anyway, so you should be okay

Re: uh oh! invite RSVPs
do you think If I leave the forward, some will get lost in transit? Luckily I'm only haveing about 120, so like 60-0 RSVPS would need to be forwardedor...
Is there a way to release the forward?

Re: uh oh! invite RSVPs
ok I think I'll stop the forward
All my bills have my new address and I pay online anyway, so I might benefit and my mom will get all my JUNK mail
Thanks girls, I built this up to be 'the end of the world' haha, thanks for the help

How long ago did you forward your mail? It's not good forever. I thnk it expires after 1 year.

the only problem with that is that if you did a change of address with the post office...sometimes things take over a week to go from the old address to the new one! ugh...
