Uh oh...it's starting..Attack of the Killer FMIL

So, when FH's brother was married in May 04 his mom was ALL in their business about the wedding (PS She didn't pay a dime for it), she wanted to go to the hall and see what food was being served (and b*tched that they were not having shrimp cocktail or flowers on the cake), she wanted to see the invites, go to the photographer, etc.

Fast forward to Sept 2004, when FH and I book our hall and offer for her to see it. She says no. FH asked her 3 times in the past 18 months for a guest list, she has provided NONE!

FH tells her last week we were going to go to Jericho Terrace for the showcase (We ended up not going, I was not feeling well). THe next day she asked how it was and said she wanted to go the next time they have one. Then proceeds to ask FH why we haven't included her in any planning. FH pipes up (in my defense) saying he's tried and she hasn't been cooperative. She just sheepishly smiled and walked out the room. BUSTED!

So...I can see it alreday...the sh*t is going to start for us. Thank goodness FH totally backs me 100%, so hopefully it won't be TOO much agony!

For those out there with FMILs from hell...I feel for you, this one can be a doozy too!

I'm in the same boat. My FMIL never even calls to know what is going on, on the other hand that could be a good thing. We have been asking for a list too..we shall see - Best of Luck..I feel for you too..My FH is handling it noe too. I no longer ask her for the list...

Oh Sweetie!!! I feel for you... My FMIL was asked to give us the guest list 6months ago!! Fh got pissed this week, and gave her until the end of the week.. We'll see though At least your FMIL is pretending to be interested. My FMIL has NEVER even addressed our wedding...
