Uh oh...just realized

I teach music at an elementary school- I'm inviting my friends and my principal.

But then I just realized...I have a supervisor. He's the guy who runs music for the entire district. He's a sweet man, and he's my primary evaluator. Should I be inviting him too? I didn't even think to put him on the list!!

What do you think? TIA

Dr and Mrs. Edward Smith?
Or do you not address them that way when they're not medical doctors?

I have no idea. I am a teacher too but I'm not inviting my principal or my chairperson. I'm in high school though so it might be different.

Well, work invites is a touchy subject. I think that either you invite everyone, or noone....just my opinion.

I would say invite him..FH is a teacher also and he will be inviting his supervisors as well. If you deal with them on a regular basis, I think it's a nice thing to do.

yes since ur inviting the principal u should be inviting ur immidiate supervisor.

Well I most definitely have no choice now that he gave me such an awesome evaluation!

I can't imagine why I hadn't thought of inviting him before- I guess because he's not in my school every day. I just see him at Music Faculty meetings every few months and at my observations. Great guy though! I feel bad I hadn't thought it before!
