uhhh?

just called the in house bakery to set up a meeting for our wedding cake and i was told to submit everytihng online

i laughed at the girl and explained we were going to discuss my wedding cake in person and i want to cake taste not send me a picture over the internet?

am i crazy?
im not picking out the details of my wedding cake via email

W*T*F????? Thats rediculous!!! how are you suppose to know what you want without trying it or seeing it in person??? So unacceptable!

three months is like 2 weeks away
figured id call now and make my appt so i know its done

i also find it totally ridiculous that my venue doesn't even offer a cake tasting!

I think its all about the dollar signs actually. If we were just walking in off the street and not having our venue pay for the cake (which in return we are actually paying for it) - we might be in a different position. WHATEVER!!

i guarentee its because they want everything documented so they can go back and say well this is what you said, if the order is screwed up.

I really would like to know the end result of this -
Im a vyc bride too and have been on the fence about using the in house bakery ( I have a very good friend who is a phenomenal pastry chef ). This really could help me make my mind up.
Please FM me with what goes on.
I HOPE this doesn't turn out to be a nightmare for you !! I'm glad to hear you are making a stink about this online business, it's rediculous!!
