ok so i went to party america and bought these two rose floating candles. so i just decided to place one in a bowl of water and light it to see how long it would last (testing for the centerpieces at the reception). neways, it started making a cackling sound and burned out like 4 minutes later. what the heck did i do wrong?

wow i didnt realize it was so easy for it to get wet. how am i gunna handle multiple floating candles at 40 different tables! ill make sure a qualified candle lighter gets the job
