uhhh such a bad day today! -vent!

so i seriously need to get out of my school...listen to what happened today:

My class (5th grade) had last period prep today, so i pick them up and one of my boys is screaming at 2 girls and they are just making fun of them back..im like greaaaat...so i get back to my classroom and another teacher came to take the kids and dismiss the ones that do not have extended day (most of my class stays for this- its extra help basically) so my class went inside other then the ones that were getting dismissed by the other teacher..i guess the girls had made a face at the boy so he decided that he wanted to go after them..so im blocking the door so he couldnt get in..hes PUSHING me trying to get me out of the way..im holding the door closed and my back ends up going into the door knob (it still hurts!) and i somehow lock the door..when he went away from the door for a second i went into the classroom with the door locked (this whole time the other teacher is trying to get him to go with her so he can be dismissed) he then BANGS his hand on the glass window of my door and the whole thing shatters!

The boys dad comes and sees NOTHING wrong with what he did and is blaming the girls! (not that they were innocent- but they werent trying to fight him and they certainly were not the ones who broke the glass window) the dad starts YELLING at one of the girls in the office...so i had to take them somewhere else...

uhhh my head is seriously still spinning around this whole thing i cant wait till this year is finally over!!

im so sorry! I loove those parents, there kids are angels and there kids never do anything wrong, its always the other kids.. I saw that happen all the time with my aunt, she never disciplined her kids, always blamed someone else.. soo sorry you have to deal with people like that!

kids are kids, but I hate the line 'Oh no not my kid' Kids today are spoiled and have no respect, it was ALOT different when we were younger...

OMG that's crazy!! That's what's wrong with kids today! Their parents are oblivious to their behavior... First off no boy should ever be hitting a girl... His father should know better! Second off if it had been me, my mother would've smacked me right there in front of the teacher.

and apparently in my school boys are taught that not only is it okay to get in fights...but boys can fight girls just like they would fight another boy...its nuts! i swear these parents dont teach their kids ANYTHING

one of my other students a few weeks ago said he wanted to f*** (another teacher) in the a*s...the other teacher heard him say it so did many other kids..but the kid denied it and the parent said she just didnt believe it

another one of my kids (who is no longer in my class they switched her class) when i told her to pick up papers that i saw her fling off her desk.. said to me 'theyre not mine you blind bit*h!' the girl wrote what she said word for word in her statement and admitted to it...the mom came up and said that im blaming her for stuff she doesnt do

can u imagine??? what is going on in the world??? if a teacher EVER had to so much as call my house for any reason..i was in BIGGGGG trouble! these kids dont care cause their parents dont care

What really shocks me is that I'm NOT shocked.

What's sad is that their parents don't give a crap to teach them how to become decent human beings.. then they grow up to become maladjusted adults with kids of their own!

I'm so sorry you had this happen today

I can't believe the dad saw nothing wrong with his son's behavior - parents really stink sometimes

ok I work in district 75.. and I have emotionally disturbed kids.. you know the ones with really bad behavior problems..

anyway.. one of my students the other day.. takes out his penis on the bus right by the matron's face and says 'suck it b i t c h'

he gets a 3 day bus suspension.. comes back.. and the day he's allowed back. .he PEES on the window of the bus..

this is like one of 3 mini busses in all of nyc with 2 matrons on it.. and so many crazy kids..

anyway... the dad comes up for a meeting and says.. I don't think it's his fault.. he doesn't know any better..

ok I don't know any other 7 yr olds that do that?!!? THEY DEFINITELY know better!!!
