uhoh

so i just totaled up our guest list and i think i mis-calculated the number of invites we would need...

total is 231 invited and that is 120 invites. i only ordered 125 inkspun requests 10 percent additional envelopes for errors etc.

has anyone had an issue with errors on envelopes from calligraphers? i hope they dont need more than 5 extra

what i would do is NOT mail invitations to your immediate family - explain the situation to them and that way you will have extra envelopes!

My calligrapher didnt ask for any extras?

Re: uhoh

If you tell the calligrapher you just don't have any extras, I'd doubt they could really argue with that...

Re: uhoh

Yes and with them. If you just ordered it, see if you can add another 25. They messed up my 4 innner envelopes and we had 2 wrong addresses and 2 added on guests. It might have been the way we wanted it worded, but it happened. Also, they hold the extra for your convenience. You call them or email them the info and they mail it to you with the extras.

If the person writing out your envelopes messes up more than you have extras then they should buy more envelopes.

I did the same thing.

I ordered 140 invites, I need 136

Thank God my invitation vendor is also doing my envelopes or I'd be really worried.

Re: uhoh

if you have multiple people in the same household, you can tell the calligrapher to do those last and if there are enough envelopes to give them separate ones, if not, to put their names all on one?

we had our invite company do our addressing so if they made any mistakes, they had to take care of making us replacement envelopes --- i dont know if they made any mistakes
