I found out through another co-worker that the 2 coworkers in the 2 year old room in which I work believe I faked my pregnancy and miscarriage.....because I A: wanted to get out of the room (which I do) and B: I wanted the week before Christmas off....

If I wanted a week off, I'd take it!!!!
I'm a married woman who WANTED this pregnancy....why would I fake it!!!

I am so livid and so ready to hit someone....butI have to go talk to the director and tell her all this and tell her I absolutely refuse to work with them now....I was fine working with them even if they didn't like me......

I can not believe the nerve of some people. I would have blown off the handle then and there. My grandma used to say karma will come around and get them in the end. I wish you the best and hope to hear that those people were punished in some way for what they did. Sorry to hear you had to go through dealing with some of the morons of the world.

I am sending hugs for having to deal with people like them.

Definitely talk to your supervisor, this is beyond basic gossip.

Do they think they live in a soap opera? Real people don't actually DO those things. I'm so sorry you had to deal with it. I think your best bet, if you want to continue working there, is to speak to the director and explain what happened and see what they will do about it and go from there. Your professionalism will shine through and maybe they'll get rid of the other assistant.

I don't understand how cruel someone could be to say something so malicious and hurtful about another person. If you are going to think the worst of someone, that's the kind of thing you keep to yourself and NEVER verbalize it to another soul.

Shana, don't stoop (sp??) to their level. Talk to your director let her know what's going on. I would say something to those girls, but don't be confrontational about it (easier said than done). When they see how cool and collect you are when you tell them off they'll definitely feel it.

I'm amazed how you can keep your compsure. I sure as heck wouldn't. I would have marched right in there and told them off.

I had a situation at one of my jobs where a coworker made a comment about me. It took everything I had to not march over to her and slap her across the face. The two of us had a couple of other 'almost' altercations (brought on by her stupidity) during our working relationship. I still can't stand the b!tch. The worst part of all is that she was more than twice my age, but acted like she was half my age.

Sorry you have to deal with such insensitive clods.

I would be so mad! I would also start to look for another job, I went thru some interoffice crap and stuck with the job for a year to get experience, I had the attitude I have to be nice to work with them not be there friends. After 1 year I left and got another job, I am there 13 years later and work with nice people. I am so sorry you are going thru this, you do not need this on top of everything you have been thru.

What they did was wrong. But, I also wonder why that other woman even told you.

If I overheard talk like that, I could NEVER bring myself to tell the person whom the comments were made about. I would tell them to stop. But, I dont' think I'd tell the person who was the subject of the conversation...
