Well we had the non stress test done yesterday and everything was fine. Afterwards we had an ultrasound and we found out that the baby was measuring 37 weeks and is already 8 pounds. I am only supposed to be 33 weeks with an expected due date of April 30th. How accurate are these estimates? Did we miss a whole month some how............I did not even have my shower yet? I am just stressing..........
Babies grow at different rates. The age at what they measure at varies. Being 33 weeks and measuring 37 weeks is ok. Dont worry you have time. Emma measured further along than she was... and she was born 5 days after my due date.
I totally agree with kp. All babies will measure differently. Justin always measured small and yet he was born 16 days early. Granted he was a small baby (just over 5 punds), but perfectly healthy just the same.
