Do your invites usually 'match' the whole wedding? Like If Im having some sort of red BM dresses should the invites have some red in it?

I didn't. My girls are wearing red and my invites were white with black lettering and pearl envelope liners. I'm using red and black as my colors.

usually they stay with the color theme of your wedding, the invitations usually sets the mood of the everning as well, if you send out a very formal invo then most people assume the even is very formal...but hey it;s your wedding you really can do wahtever you want

I don't think it's neccessary. Personally, I want to go as cheap with the invites as possible so I can save some money. Most people throw them out anyway, so I'm going for simple chic. Since less color usually equates to less price, that's the route I'm taking. Besides, you can't go wrong with a plain white invite.

i didnt match mine....i fell in love with these other invites that have nothing to do with my color/theme...and ive received invites that didnt have anything to do with the brides color scheme
personally it doesnt matter to me...some ppl however like everrything every lil thing coordinated... so its up to you

i dont think they have too-THO we were originally putting the girls in Navy so everything was navy (invites and all) and now they are in grey and silver and I HAVE to change the invites...but I have somehow become obsessed with things matching
Not silly at all. My wedding colors are pink and white with some silver and a touch of black. I used the pink ink for the invites. No one is going to remember them anyway.
