I picked Plum from David's Bridal in late February. I have two junior BM's, their mother called today to find out the style number for the BM dress because she was waiting to purchase the dresses because the girls had been growing. Well, now every Plum junior BM dress has been discontinued.
I'm not worried - they can find one on clearance or just pick a complimentary color. But what's the deal? Why is Plum such an undesirable color???

Try other David's Bridal stores and see if they have the dresses avail. in the color/size you need - I believe they do shipping btw stores - you just have to nag a bit! Good luck!

My 2nd favorite color is purple, I don't know why it would be discontinued. I think it's a great color.

That's not undesirable at all!!!! It's lovely for a BM dress, esp in the fall!!

I agree -- I was considering them for my wedding in February. Check out Leese's pics from her wedding - her BM's wore plum and it was beautiful

I did check out Leese's pics and the Plum looks beautiful. Thanks for the support!! I wasn't having doubts until I noticed about 20 dresses in every color at David's Bridal and only ONE dress in Plum (every other one was discontinued...).

Maybe they discontinued Plum but now have a similar color with a new name - you should call them and find out.

aww! that stinks!! it sounds like its a great color- especially for fall! BUT... definitely call davids and they can probably find the dresses at another store. i was a BM last summer, and the bride fell in love with a BM dress from davids, but then found out it was discontinued..... the david's asked her what sizes she needed, and they started calling other davids, and all 5 BMs ended up getting the dresses in the right sizes so theres hope!!

i think david's discontinues colors but then releases a new one that looks very similar but is called something else. i have no idea why...but no worries! plum will be beautiful!
