ummm I just baked two pies . . . (for the first time ever)

I feel so . . . domestic! I just baked a pie for the first time ever... KEY LIME PIE! I'll let you know how it turns out... I ended up grating too much lime zest so I decided to make two pies. One is cooling as we speak, and the other is still in the oven!

I hope they come out good .. .

does anyone know how long you let a pie sit and cool when it comes out of the oven???

usually i wait like 10-15 mins, and then put it in the fridge to chill and firm up. I usually make pumpkin pie.

It actually came out really good! FH and I just ate half of one . . .LOL the only thing is I put a TAD too much lime zest - but good to know for next time, and it was still really yummy!
