We have decided as our favors we are giving full bottles of merlot per couple mostly because we are both from italian families that drink lots of wine and I think it's cute for the fall theme.

ITA..for that price you can probably get each couple 2 wine glasses (again it would probably be overboard)

I am also giving bottles of wine as favors. I am putting them in organza bags so you can see the labels we are making. If you are interested in making your own labels I found a great website that offer ink-jet labels for all kinds of beer,wine bottle. Plus they'll send you free samples of the colors and kinds of label you want. The website is http://www.onlinelabels.com/bottles.htm I decided not to add anything else with the wine b/c I feel like that makes it look like you didn't spend alot on the wine.
