I guess the formal letterpressed invite was not any indication.... silly me....

It is truly amazing how little tact people have when it comes to weddings.. Like when you send an invite to a recently divorced person..not in a relationship.. with out 'and guest ' and they reply with guest!!!! ugh and you are actually more friends with her ex ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
