OK, so I ordered my dress in March (from Davids, so I knew it was coming from a warehouse or something). They said it would be in end of May. Then I get the call that its in TODAY! So now what the heck do I do with it? I don't even have a freaking RH yet!!! I am the queen of doing things back asswards, but this one takes the cake.

Will David's hold the dress for you at the stopre or do you have to pick it up and keep it at home before your first fitting?

they won't store it. I think maybe I'll leave it at my grandma's house til the fittings since my dad smokes and I don't want to smell like a pack of cigs on my wedding day

Good idea... definitely keep it stored someplace where it won't get dirty and FH won't be able to sneak a peek!

that's so great! congrats on getting the dress already!

maybe there might be alterations that need to be done, so don't worry about having the dress...yet....

and maybe ask if they can store it for you.. since they obviously know how to keep a dress in good condition... cause at home, you never know what can happen..

my gf had her dress at home...and due to the past rain storms we had...she had some serious leakage in her apt... even in her closet. luckily her dress was unaffected...but hey, you never know~
