UNBELIVABLE! (long vent)

THANK GOD...I am back in NY!!! FSIL was absolutely ridiculous the entire weekend. Much of the conversation centered around her wedding...when we would say anything about our wedding (which we really didn't do) she'd get this look on her face like she'd rather hear nails scraping down a chalkboard. Originally she had a big problem with our wedding being 2 months after her because it was 'her year' and we were 'stealing her thunder' and blah blah blah...I thought all that was behind us, but I guess not.

The kicker came when FH went out of his way to apologize again for anything we had done to 'steal her thunder' (which...again, was NOTHING...nobody seemed to want to hear about our wedding so we kept our traps shut)...and she went OFF on him, saying that he's so lucky that she loves his daughter or there would be serious problems, how he's SO lucky that her FH wants him as an usher, and how she's super pissed because they had to cancel their trip to South Africa to go to the World Cup because they won't have enough money to do that AND come to our wedding.

WHAT THE HOLY H E L L IS WRONG WITH THIS GIRL?!?!?! She is the most stupid, selfish spoiled little BRAT ever to walk the Earth!!!! I can't even begin to get into every single point and why they are ALL absolutely insane...I wanted to kick her in the teeth!!!!

This should be a happy time for their family...they are the only two children and they are both getting married in the same year...it should be a happy occasion and it COULD be if she would pull the stick out and start acting like a freakin human being...

Sorry this got so long, she just makes me SOOOOO ANGRY!!!

Sorry you have to go through this. I think you and your FH are doing the right thing by not even mentioning about the wedding in front of her. Coz even if you are not trying to make it a big deal...she will take it that way anyway. Even if it is just a little peep about it. So just focus on what is important to you and your FH. And just ignore her.

What a PITA... you totally should have kicked her in the teeth. Thank goodness you guys don't live near them - imagine dealing with that shht all the time! Ugh!

o geezes, she sounds like a real piece of work....i'm sorry u have to deal with this. u should be both be able to talk about ur weddings!! ur right, it should be a happy time for his family, and instead she's ruining it. i'm sorry hun .... atleast she doesnt live near u!!!

I'm pretty sure she'll NEVER get over it...but the only difference will be that after both our weddings are over (because for some strange reason FH still wants her to come to ours ) I will be free to speak my mind and let her know EXACTLY how I feel about her childish antics.

The next time I see her (If I don't end up going to her wedding...which is a real possibility due to other factors besides my hatred of her) then the next time I see her will be next Christmas...and I WILL be letting her know that if she isn't over it she better get over it damn quick!!
