Ok so there is a girl i work w/ who i am friendly w/. We both got engaged around the same time and i have helped her w/ vendors etc. We were hired together so we used to hang out alot in the past when we were both single.
Anyway, a few wks ago she called me about something for the wedding and we ot to talking about who we were inviting from school (work). To make a long stiry short, we agreed that we wouldnt invite each other bc her wedding is also 2 wks after mine.
ANYWAY, i get her bridal shower invitation in the mail today. I know mine went out already and i didnt have her on my list. I am not going to her shower (already have an obligation that day) and now, that must mean im invited to the wedding. I can not add anyone else

Possibly but i know that i have taken people off my list so..... you would think she would have called her mom and said take so-and-so off the list.

If it were me, I would still stick with the original plan, not to invite her.....is there any way to bring it up again casually??? It doesn't make sense she would be inviting you after you both specifically decided against it

I dont know. She may have NO idea that her shower invites went out and i know it annoyed me when people told me they got mine so......

She might just felt that since the two of you were planning together that you might want to come to her shower, rather than her wedding. Talk to her, and find out how she feels. She may have ment only to be friendly to invite her friend who helped plan her wedding. Talk to her. I'm sure this can be cleared up.
